Newsletter #183

My apologies for the second email. Hayden, who sends the newsletter out, made a small mistake and accidentally sent out newsletter 183 calling it 182. You can find a working link to newsletter 183 below. ---- There's been a lot of talk this week about the sale of the Vodafone Warriors. Let me make it clear, I am not involved, I know nothing about it and I have no interest in ever owning the Vodafone Warriors. I'm just a loyal fan and I enjoy just being a fan. On another note, we have a nice article from the West Coast courtesy of Jenny Pope, who used to play in the Jillaroos (the Aussie woman's rugby league team), and some great coverage of the Canterbury Rugby League finals played last weekend, courtesy of Will Evans. Plus we have some very good coverage of league from around the country and Miles Davies does a nice story about Olsen Filipaina, a player who played for my club. The Mangere East Hawks, and who I have had a lot to do with over the years Enjoy the read and enjoy the rest of your week. As you read this I'll be on the Sealink car ferry heading to Waiheke Island, but I’ll be glued to the TV when we plat Souths, so go the Vodafone Warriors. Sir Peter Charles Leitch KNZM QSM Chief NZ Ambassador for Rugby League World Cup 2017
