Sir Peter Leitch's Club Newsletter

Newsletter #187

As you read this week's newsletter Janice and I are heading back from the Gold Coast, where we have spent the last few days chilling out While I was on the the Gold Coast I caught up with former Vodafone Warriors Kevin Campion and Konrad Hurrell, so you can check out the interviews I did with them on my Facebook page. It should be good for a laugh. It was great to watch the Warriors InTrust team get a win 30-6 win over Newcastle, and this weekend they play the Wyong Roos at Leichhardt on Sunday. Our thoughts go out to the people in America who have been affected by the tornadoes and the hurricanes. It makes you appreciate how lucky we are to live in this part of the world. It's all go tomorrow night because I am doing a gig with Sir John Kirwin for Westpac, called Two Knight's & and Ex Butchers cooking a BBQ. It should be fun. Then on Friday morning I am on the 6am Sealink car ferry to head to Placemakers on Waiheke, who are doing a BBQ for Blue September, so if you happen to be about, all welcome. Then on Saturday night it's the Golden Homes Black Sox championship dinner night at Alexandra Park, and I am really looking forward to that because we must not forget the Black Sox won their seventh world title this year. Funny how they never got a ticker-tape parade after a performance like that. Despite having a great time in Australia we will be glad to get home because we love New Zealand and wouldn't live anywhere else. Sir Peter Charles Leitch KNZM QSM Chief NZ Ambassador for Rugby League World Cup 2017
