Well it wasn’t a pretty win but we got the two points. I have to be honest because I had my doubts going into the game against Parramatta, with Captain Roger out, plus a few other injuries, but the guys did us proud and got us the win. This Saturday we take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs who had a close call over the weekend, beating the Cowboys 20-19, and who the week before beat the top of the table Dragons 24-10. They will be coming to Mt Smart very confident, so the Vodafone Warriors will have to bring their top game to the stadium when three plays four. The gates open at 5pm and at 5.10pm the SAS Fox Memorial curtain-raiser between the Mt Albert Lions and the Pt Chevalier Pirates kicks off, with the main game following at 7.30pm. Last weekend Janice and I went down to Masterton in the Wairarapa for a gala fundraising night for Netball Wairarapa’s new facility, and we met some great people and had a great time. I can totally recommend it, it’s a great place to visit, and there are some photos in the newsletter. Enjoy the rest of your week, and if you’re around Auckland on Saturday night the only place to be is Mt Smart Stadium. I’ll be there, and hopefully you will be too.
