As you read this week's newsletter I’ll be on my Air NZ flight to Sydney with a few of the Vodafone warriors boys who war up for awards tonight the first thing I’m going to do once iv checked into my hotel I’m heading out to Parramatta to visit my old mate Peter Wynn’s sports store. Peter played 175 games for the Eels and also played for Australia and NSW, and he has a fantastic sports store, where his motto is: If you don’t score here you’ll never score. Then I'm off to the Dally M awards, which will be a fantastic night with several Vodafone Warriors players in with a show to pick up awards. Thursday morning I'm on my Air NZ flight back home to Auckland, so no, I won’t be going to the Grand final. Instead Waiheke is calling so I will be glued to the TV watching the games on Sunday. It will be a long day, starting with the All Blacks at 11.40am then the league later on. What a day it is going to be with the Broncos taking on the Roosters in the women's final, the Bulldogs taking on the Dolphins in the InTrust comp final, and then the big one, which will be a ripper, with the Melbourne Storm up against the Roosters.
