Newsletter #245
Not a great weekend for a rugby last week, with the All Blacks going down to the Irish and the Black Ferns losing to France. I watched both games and I thought they were both great. The Maori All Blacks at least carried the flag with a good win.
Now I have some sad news.
We are closing down the newsletter this year, with our last ever issue going out on 12 December.
It’s been a fantastic ride, but more about that in our last issue. I do need though to acknowledge David Kemeys in particular, because he has been there since day one, takes 58 phone calls a week, and frankly, is a genius ... which is to say he wrote this bit in when I asked him to check my forward and I don’t know how to delete it.
If anyone is keen to go to the Joseph Parker fight in Christchurch and would like to sit on a ringside corporate table, cost is $1050 includes drinks, meal etc, then send me an email because a great mate has pulled out. It will be a great night with Manu Vatuvei, ex Vodafone Warrior, and the Brown Butterbean on the undercard.
I have to be honest, I am going through withdrawal symptoms with no rugby league but with the help of my wife I’ll get through it I enjoy your week even though our beloveds All Blacks lost its not the end of the world, no one died.
