Newsletter #181
Not a good weekend for the Butcher with my beloved Vodafone Warriors going
down for the fourth time in a row and my beloved Mangerie East Hawks losing
to Te Atatu Roosters 28-6.
I was lucky enough to get over to Waiheke to chill out for a couple of
days, and with the Vodafone Warriors away this weekend I'm heading back
there on Thursday for some relaxing time and maybe a kayak?
The Vodafone Warriors might have lost last on Friday but we still had a
great time in the Stacey Jones lounge, hosting people from all around the
country, including a great group of teachers from Redoubt North Primary
School who had a blast.
We only have two home games left this year, Sunday the 13th of August
against the Raiders, when the gates open at 11.30am with our three teams
playing on the day, then our last home game of the season against the Manly
Sea Eagles on Sunday the 27th of August when the gates again open at 11.30am
and all our three teams play. You can get your tickets from Ticketek and at
to the office at Smart. If you are coming to either of those games and would
like to do a tour of the stadium I'll have details in the next newsletter,
or you can ring me on 021 936105.
Enjoy your weekend and remember, if your team lost, hopefully no one died
and you wake up in the morning, so it's a beautiful day.
You all have a great week.
